Education:

     A native of New York City, Michael studied at the School of Industrial Art & Design in NYC, Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. and during the summer months Michael studied at the Art Students League in NYC.

Work:

Monroe Greenthal Advertising Agency in NYC, produced Newsprint and promotional Ad packages.

    BBD&O (Batten Barton Dursten & Osborne) in NYC. Directed promotional Ad packages for United Artists Pictures and retouched photos for promotional posters.

    Drafted, Michael spent 2 years in England at Greenham Common Airforce Base. Became the base photographer, managed a sign painting shop and produced a weekly 4 page news-paper. Married his present wife & became a father.

    Michael was offered and accepted a position at the Disney Studios in Los Angeles. Arriving in Los Angeles he decided instead to hire on at Litton Industries in the San Fernando Valley creating Industrial Airbrush renderings of Gyroscopic Navigational Equipment for the Army and Navy.

     9 years later Michael left Litton Industries and with his wife Brenda, started Brenda Antin Antiques. After years of Antique-ing, Decorating and making reproductions of some of the pieces they purchased on shopping trips to Europe, Michael started drawing and painting again. Michael shows his work at their 7377 Beverly Blvd. location in Los Angeles.
